Behaviour Consultations

My behaviour training consultations will enable you to handle difficult and stressful behaviours you may be experiencing with your dog. You will learn how to effectively and efficiently manage your dogs behaviour; and acquire the necessary handling skills and tools needed to adapt and improve your dog’s quality of life.

The focus is on future solutions and working toward successful management.

Behaviour training examples include:

• Reactivity towards dogs and/or humans
• Aggression toward other dogs
• Resource guarding
• Fearful, phobic or anxious related social behaviour
• ‘Separation’ [anxiety] related behaviours
• Excessive stress
• Inappropriate barking

How it works:

• I will speak to you by telephone to gather a picture of your struggle.
• Or, we can work entirely via Zoom.
• I will ask you to complete an online questionnaire.
• I will create an outline plan before either seeing you at a home visit or through a Zoom consultation.
• Home visit or Zoom session – 1hr approximately to work through the plan, so you have all the tools to modify, train and manage the problem behaviours your dog may be experiencing.
• Follow up support by email.
• Follow-up sessions as required and mutually agreed.
• You may schedule additional ongoing sessions as you progress.
